The 1991 Honda Civic EF sedan is already a rare gem, but transformed into a lowrider, it's a masterpiece. This meticulously modified ride blends the essence of West Coast culture with 90s Japanese euro goodness. Starting off as a beaten up farm car, sat on 35k miles, it was bought for a couple hundred quid (when they were cheap) and evolved into what she is today. She developed the name Rhonda over the years, becoming more recognised and known through the uk car scene. Due to its mix of Lowrider, stance and kustom styles it attracts all kinds of fans, young or old. It was meant to be used and destroyed but in typical Honda style, she hung on to life and it was decided to make it less perfomance based and turn it into a work of art.

Exterior

The EF sedan's sleek lines are accentuated by a candy metal flake paint job by @forgedfromflake. shimmering under the sunlight like. The body sits low, hugged by gleaming chrome rims adorned with intricate, chrome-plated 2 ear spinners.

Suspension

Beneath the surface, the Civic's suspension has been expertly tweaked, dropping the ride height for an unmistakable lowrider swagger whilst having the ability to get all 4 wheels firmly off the floor. Upgrades include:2 black magic pumps attached to a custom whammy tank, powder coated in the oem red colour, 2 batteries accompanying this to achieve 24v capable of strong, precise movements and because it’s a Honda, a reinforced chassis ensuring stability and durability along. She also sits nicely on 4 modified rams with no springs, but as uncomfortable this may sound, we can assure that the ride in it feels like its a day out the factory.

Interior

Inside, the EF sedan's cabin has been tastefully modified to incorporate the Japanese design along with some Lowrider flare. Refurbished own interior, comfy like your nans sofa with an imported NRG steering wheel, decorated in sakura flowers. You’ll find a custom engraved switch panel along with a 10 unit switch box for extra ways of performance.

Perfomance

Underneath you’ll find the standard D14A1 twin carb, although it’s pre vtec, it’ll still give you an exciting journey round the back roads. With this comes a full custom stainless exhaust and some shotgun pipes.

Wheels and Tires

Full chrome 13x7 wires, wrapped in Nankang as1s for the comfort of a family car, these wheels nod to typical Lowrider style all over the world.
